Leaving for an overnight to visit friends and no opportunity to post later today so I walked around the yard for some inspiration. Not much in bloom right now and a rather dreary day. The little garden statues remind me of my son and daughter, who always had books in hand. Not only did they fire their imaginations by reading but used the books to help block out all the extra unwanted stimuli around them. Today, they walk around with smart phones and rarely crack open a book. But I hope their minds are still full of wonder. Not such a great collage but a great memory.
