In less than 40 minutes, my baby will be 22! It's hard to believe how fast time flies by when you're busy raising children, working at a career and a marriage, and all the other roles we take on for
our selves. Rose is in college now, thinks her current boyfriend is The One, has no idea yet what she wants to do with her life and is forever losing things like her phone, her keys and her drivers license. But I know in time, she'll figure it all out.
Tomorrow night our birthday girl is coming over for her favorite dinner of brisket, mashed potatoes and walnut brownies for dessert. It's all cooking now as I'm hurrying to upload this before the witching hour. I took a picture of her picture and the roses with my new point and shoot camera that arrived in the mail today.It's tiny and red and fits in my pocket.
