View from Cabrillo National Monument at Point Loma, overlooking San Diego Bay. Cabrillo sailed from Mexico in 1510 with three ships to claim the Americas for the King of Spain. This spot commemorates his life of exploration.
Great shot. I moved here to San Diego in 1985 & ventured up there one afternoon that year, taking a bunch of terrible photos with an old Disc camera (all the rage then!)
Oddly enough, for no discernible reason, I have not been back up there since! Gotta get back up there!
