Traveling by boat to the different villages around Inle Lake was like going back in time about 1,000 years. We passed people washing their clothes and themselves in the river, saw water buffalo, farmers and fishermen and local vendors. Here you can see some ancient pagodas and temples just outside the marketplace where we stopped to shop and have coffee.
You must still be holding your breath for all the things you were able to see on your journey to Burma. Did you ever in your life think that you would go there? What an incredible trip you had!
