The Procession

One of the extraordinary characters in Hew Locke’s ‘the procession’, a photographic feast if ever I saw one at Tate Britain last May. The Procession invited visitors to ‘reflect on the cycles of history, and the ebb and flow of cultures, people and finance and power.’

The lighting on the red really makes it pop. Not sure what I feel about the mask but certainly adds interest.
