Friday Night Challah by rensala

Friday Night Challah

If there’s any leftover after Friday night supper, it translates into Saturday morning breakfast of French toast. For those who are not familiar with it, Challah is an egg bread, usually braided, eaten by Jews on the Sabbath or other ceremonial occasions.
Looks delicious! Did you make it?

Exactly as Beryl @beryl has said - glazing makes bread look so good. You can see its got egg in it and I'm sure it will taste better than ordinary bread!

Great shot of this delicious looking Challah. We have many Jewish friends and often get to enjoy it at Shabbat.

The bread is beautiful. Is the cloth a bread cloth used for the bread?
