Marylebone Station by rensala

Marylebone Station

Back home today, this is a sort of architectural half & half. We got stuck in traffic right in front of this old station so it was an obvious shot
Beautiful old structure and capture! Why can't they still build like this!?

This reminds me of a hospital that I used to work in. Guess they were built at a similar time.

Great architecture, I always love the old wrought iron and glass structures on Victorian era railway stations.

@marlboromaam they say brick comes with higher costs for labour, transportation and disposal and not a good insulator

@rensala Sad. They still build homes with brick here and use thick insulation between the brick and inside walls. I guess brick and stone masons will be a thing of the past as well. =(
