Desolate

Experimenting continues on the theme of Twigs. I’m not sure if this counts as Negative Space
To me it does, lovely textures and contrasts.

The wall show so much texture.

An interesting take on the topic. During editing, I would soften the texture significantly so that it would not be the main component of the image.

@haskar I did try to achieve this but then I lost the white twig in the process

@rensala I don't know what program you use to edit. Me in Lightroom. First, I would mark the twigs as an object in the mask panel (this is a fairly new function in the program, but it works great). Then I would reverse the mask and soften the background with the textures or clear slider, depending on what would work better. Regards

@haskar thank you so much - I don’t use Lightroom, yet, but I’m thinking about it. Snapseed is my go to app, it’s free and easy to use but of course has its limitations
