I took a photo of this rose bush back in April and titled it "First Bud". I was a little surprised that it still had a flower and a new bud coming in December. Especially considering the cold conditions we've had up until now.
Nice photo. The first buds will be back before you know it. Here in Southern California, our roses are mostly done. But many bushes still have a few buds or flowers left when it's time to prune them back between Christmas and New Years. Always sad to cut them off before they've had time to bloom.
