Frosty Reception

A lot of the shots I've taken are from this spot. There didn't used to be a gate you could just walk in and admire the view. I guess the Farmer's not so keen on people enjoying the view hence the barbed wire!!
great shot with the sky and frosty foreground - it might not be people looking at the view, locally it's fly tipping and/or trying to stop access for illegal poaching or hare coursing, knowing where a local farmer has put in gates that weren't there until recently. And talking to the guy when trespassing on his land (on a concrete track, so not doing any damage).

@shannejw Thanks. I expect your right. There's a public foot path in the next field so I can still take in the view this was just a great spot when you only have a minute to spare!

Shame about the gate but now you have an added compositional element to play with. This looks so very crunchy cold too. Fav.

Barbed wire does tend to make me think there might be something interesting on the other side.
