I love this tree which I drive past fairly often. It's not in the easiest of places to stop for a photograph (just off a busy road) but today I finally took a photo it! I think it'd be a great tree for a seasonal or monthly photo if I could get a little closer and get the right angle but it's not public land as well as not being too well located for stopping for photos!
Still, I'm pleased to have finally snapped it and perhaps with a little planning, it could become a(nother!) tree series one day.
It does have a lovely shape. Lovely shot too. Your photography has really improved since I was last around - not that it wasn't good before I hasten to add!
love the cow-line under the trees in the background where they've kept the branches to a certain height. I've got some trees like that (inaccessible for practical reasons) on my drive to work. One fell over last week! i was sorry I had never made the effort to figure out where to stop...
@jantan What a lovely, kind comment Jan, thank you. I think it's more that my camera has improved and all my photos are nature based now, ever since 30 Days Wild (if you heard of it?!) in June, I've spent even more time 'playing' outside and make an effort to photograph something outdoors / nature based every day!
