Not a great day for taking pictures, but a great day none-the-less. Wind picked up and a steady rain kept my camera under wraps. The eagles were great, though. Seemed to be a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 immature. One would fly into a tree and another would fly out. Almost felt like I was back in Floriday. Now if I'd only had a 500 mm lens, no rain, less wind, etc. etc. Judy Henske (if anyone remembers her) used to say, "If I'd had my bow and arrow, had I had it...." Maybe tomorrow they'll be there along with better light and conditions?
@lynnb Kayak yes. It was beautiful when I first headed out, then the wind and rain, wind let up, rain didn't. Had it been raining earlier I wouldn't have gone out. Glad I did. The eagles were really a thrill, even if not close enough for good pics.
Nice to hear from you all. Thanks, Rob
