I went for a walk down the cycle track this afternoon. I thought I would go before the weather turned even colder, wet and probably snowy! I had forgotten the children were on holiday and so it was a bit noisy and I knew I wouldn't see many birds so I took a detour through the woods not really knowing where I would end up. Eventually, I recognised the bridge you see in the picture and realised that I could get back onto the cycle track and walk back my usual way by which time the children had all disappeared. I wasn't sure which pic to upload as I took loads of sheep with an amazing number of Canada Geese flying about in the field but decided on this one in the end. Hope you like it. It was rather a grey day
@esox I bet there are kingfishers along the brook but I haven't seen any today. I'll have to spend more time sitting quietly down there and see if I can spot one when I have more time and the weather is a bit better
@boogie@grammyn@carolmw@piedfly@whitelily@kbuehl@moominmomma Thanks for all your kind comments. it truly is a magical time of year with everything just starting to go green and the colours are beautiful. We had rain when I got back which should help the brooks, trees, etc. I didn't think I would be so pleased to see rain but we are in one of the worst drought areas
