Another one from Bavaria - this is a male capercaillie and I think he quite fancied his keeper as he kept following him about. There was a female with him but he didn't seem interested in her - poor thing! They really are funny birds and I had never seen them before. I still haven't had time to go through all my photos so I might be posting Bavarian shots for a while.
