Not exactly in season

I saw this in a garden up the road but it's definitely not in season. I can't remember what it's called but we have one of these bushes in our garden but they don't usually flower for months. I just thought it was a nice sunny colour on what has been a few weeks of dismal skies.

Nice shot. Its a kerria japonica and they normally flower between April and June. But a lot of things are out of season these days
