I only said on here yesterday that the birds were nowhere to be seen and they must have heard me because I've had loads of them including this starling in the garden today. A flock of starlings descended on the feeders, the bird table and the sundial where I put a load of food. I've had great tits, blue tits, robins, blackbirds and of course the starlings so I'm pleased to see them back.
I'm glad I went out for a walk before lunch as it started raining before I got back but I didn't get too wet and I kept my camera dry underneath my coat! I've not done a lot inside the house because I took my car to get a couple of tyres on the back as I've had a slow puncture on one of them on the back and I'm sick of asking Steve to pump it up so now I won't need to worry. I like to have everything right with the car as the weather is getting colder and if we get any of that dreaded white stuff that they've got so much of in the States, I want to at least be ready.
Starling are very cool looking but you never get just a few! They take over and none of the other birds can get to the feeders! I have had around 30 before and had to take down my feeders for a couple of days to get rid of them!
