I still have my Zorki 4 machine today. After seeing your photo, I took it out and would like to use it today, but it would be too expensive! The film, the photo paper, the development and the time spent on it! But lab work still seems like magic! Today's digital technology already ensures quality images. The theme is what we have to feel so that we can also bring joy to others with our photos.
I like old cameras. And don't be frustrated. Here you set the focus outside the lens and it all depends on the performance and calibration of the rangefinder.
@kork I know, it gets really expensive. I pay to have my film developed and it's about $20.00 USD to get it done. I just ordered a Jupiter 8 50mm from Poland today - what type of lens is on your Zorki?
@haskar well the guy who sold me the camera told me today that the lens he gave me for it isn't coupled to the rangefinder properly so I guess all the pictures I took yesterday will be out of focus. Live and learn.
I have a Fed 4 and lots of industar prime lenses , the lens will work on a mirrorless DSLr with an adaptor . The industar lenses are fabulous , in fact all Russian prime lenses are superb , Helios , Jupiter , Industar , I love them
