Great one, Sally...I love the contrast of the yellow against the blue of the water...really strong colours. The positioning of the gull below the line of rocks is also perfect.
Oh my goodness, now you even know which type of gulls they are!! Fantastic capture .... but maybe crop so that the gull and bollard aren't totally centered? Maybe a bit off to the left (include more background on right)?
Great gull and wonderful combination of colors! I'm with @kwiksilver on wanting to see him more off-left with empty space to stare into on the right, if that would have been possible.
