Well done! I know you don't like doing them so this was a huge challenge for you. You captured a lot of character with this lighting- a lot of emotion too.
Very nice indeed. I am your get-pushed partner this coming week. Boy you have a lot of pictures. Wonderful pictures, too. I am challenging you to take a action picture where the subject is in focus as you follow it and the background blurs (like following a moving car). I had fun with this a couple of weeks ago and didn't see any in yours, but I could be wrong.

@salza Well, here's an idea IF and when there's a next time. Put yourself in a favorite environment- a favorite chair, sitting at a table, a situation where you can control the light or there is naturally low light- a fence by the road just a minute or two beyond the golden hour. If you're in a place that relaxes you, it will be easy to give a full smile, or even a gentle one. It might also make for a more relaxed pose. Just an idea- not an assignment!
@joansmor Joan I have only ever tried this with my mutts. I shall hopefully get out and about during the week and try some shots. Am I correct in assuming it is a panning shot you are talking about?
