For my get pushed challenge from Peter @peadar - My challenge to you is candid "street" people photography. As a subsidiary challenge (optional) the image should be shot with a shallow depth of field in black and white.
I am really not comfortable taking pictures of people, so this was quite a challenge for me. I went to a farmers market today and attempted some candid 'street' photography. All of the pictures I took were shot 'from the hip'! Well almost all, I did take some from the parking area that I zoomed in for. I will post some of those pictures.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
And what a fantastic result. They are both really interesting images that capture something very 'real'. You've clearly got some great raw material just at the Farmers' Market - shame to waste it!!! 😀
@peadar thanks Peter. I think I will put some of the other pics into a collage. I was quite pleased that nearly all of the pictures I took were in focus despite the fact that I had no idea what I was actually shooting!
Hi.
That for your get pushed challenge to me. I would like to see you take a picture of a baby under a year or before a walker.
They are a fun challenge to take photos of
Enjoy.
@gq hi, that challenge is not going to happen. Aside from the fact that I spend all my time with animals and working from home. I also live in a small community and have no access to children let alone babies! I do also specifically say in my bio that any challenge involving people photography could/will be refused.
ok, i am home now and back on my computer.
i will try another challenge that might work better for you.
find a letter of the alphabet in nature and take a photo of it.
let me know if that works for you.
the more you find the better.
thanks.
