I was taking pictures of little Phoebe before her new owners came to collect her. I saw her sitting patiently. Here she seems so much older than just 12 weeks old.
Phoebe has moved on to her forever home. I must admit that I do feel a tad like a mother whose child has left to go to boarding school or college and I am left wondering whether she has settled in okay.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.

How sweet with the ears up like that. I think it would be very hard to say good-bye and not know what happened. I hope she's happy in her new home too because I know she was happy with you.
@psychographer looks can be deceiving. Although she was never naughty she was very busy and had such a happy disposition. I understand that she has fitted into her new home and routine very well but I do miss having her under foot.

Thanks for your kind words. Phoebe's new family seem very nice (both human and fur kids). I'm sure that she will settle in. They did say they would let us know how she's doing.
