From Tuesday’s outing with Ian and Max
This is a merge of three shots to show a view of part of Ġnejna Bay on a wonderful autumn day. It is very rare that I come to this part of the Island and it was thanks to the urging of Ian that I came along, and I don’t regret it.
Ġnejna is the diminutive of the Maltese word ‘Ġnien’ which in English means garden. Note the Ġ with the dot. In our language there are two G’s – one with the dot, one without. The first has the sound of ‘j’ as in jar while the second has the sound of ‘g’ as in garden.
Joke: Teacher took her class children to the beach. Before allowing to rush into the sea she made them sit down and asks:: "Anyone who thinks he's stupid may stand up!"
Nobody stands up
Teacher: "I'm sure there are some students who think they are stupid here!!"
*Little Johnny stands up
Teacher: "Ohh, Johnny you think you're stupid?"
Little Johnny: "No... i just feel bad that you're standing alone..."
Many thanks for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Beautiful capture and very well merged.
