XAROLLA CATACOMBS

I was amazed to find these catacombs – a burial site from, perhaps, thousands of years ago, right next to the Xarolla Windmill. I was happy to explore the place while there was nobody around. Several have been found around the islands – the best known and biggest are in Rabat, close to Mdina.
I included the information I found at the site for those interested to know more about it.
