catch up time

I haven't been very good at keeping my journal this month but usually get some catch up time at Mum and Dad's so hopefully.....................
Three good things
* got lift to the train with a lovely friend
* survived the shoogliest train ever
* enjoyed listening to Dad recall his experiences in the Navy ( after the war ) and other stories of his young days, in front of a warm fire.

@busylady @gijsje I always have a good rest when I come up to Mum and Dad's.....and like you Judith, I'm usually flying around. They always say I've done so much.....but that's usually little things they can't manage easily like going to recycling centre etc! They just love the company too. And I love the stories many of which I have never heard before!
