Victoria Road steps

Loved the light as I walked back to Mum and Dad's after a walk to the paper shop. I used to walk this way often when I was young..........for many years there was a short stretch of road and then a path through some rough growth to the main road at the other end. It was known as Corbett's Yard and my most vivid memory of it was walking home from church one Sunday wearing my first pair of tights....as opposed to socks!!....and catching them below my knee in a piece of wire sticking up from somewhere!! :(
One pull and the top went up and the bottom went down and that was the end of my tights!!! Hee hee looking back but not at the time!
Three good things
1. Sunshine and light on a lovely Saturday which didn't bring us the forecast snow!
2. The warm sandstone colours of so many buildings in Tain.
3. A cosy fire .....you just can't compare a gas one like we have at home!
Lovely shot. The stone work and railings partner well.
