Allan had cut all the grass before the rain started on Friday evening and all my gardening efforts from earlier in the week were nicely hoovered up by the lawn mower. Very happy with the effect.
Three good things
1. Gardening at school with a group of year 7s who weren't away this week. They loved it- indoors activities and outdoors time. There is so much to learn in our environment around the school and so much they didn't know until today!
2. Medication for shingles! This is the 4th time I have had it!!!! I was feeling a bit lower than usual for a couple of weeks but appointment at the medical centre was great. It's not a serious problem thankfully, just a bit inconvenient!
3. Delicious salmon dish with spaghetti from Mary Berry's latest book! Allan is loving it!
Amazing how mowing the lawn makes a garden look so much neater & infinitely better. Shingles again....poor you it seems to recur with you far more than usual! Hope you soon feel better....five of those big bullets again?
Oh I am so sorry to hear about the Shingles. My boy had it during his GCSEs thanks to the stress of it all. Hope you are feeling much better very soon. Garden looks lovely. Isn't it great when you manage to mow or tidy up the garden and then it rains? I love that.
