Hee hee...I wasn't able to be at Sarah's 'Hen Do' last month but she brought me a bag of lovely things from her sister who had organised it all.
Included was my 'Mother of the Groom' sash and a little bottle of Prosecco, amongst other things! So today when we were waiting for Jonathan and Sarah to come for lunch - all symptom free thankfully- I thought it would be fun to mark Mother's Day. They did laugh and so did we.
So many uncertainties at the moment.......one day at a time!
That's sometimes a good idea.
Wishing you all peaceful days and wellbeing in every sense.
Three good things
1. Chicken and broccoli dish for lunch. I got the only chicken the butcher had on Thursday...free range and frozen so treasured every bite!!!
2. Rhubarb and strawberries from the freezer...with crumble topping.
3. Candles in the windows and prayers at 7.00pm....
and online church....the buildings may be closed but the people are virtually gathering together.
I love this, and your wonderful story. We are home and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Our churches are all doing virtual sermons, such a wonderful thing in these times.
It's always lovely to see you! I'm glad you have family that's able to come and visit. This would be a perfect time for us to see the grands but no one can travel! Oh well. Our churches are meeting virtually too. Isn't technology used this way great?!
Keep washing your hands and stay home as much as possible.
