Just home after a lovely meal at our local, Redgarth. Tomorrow we take the young ones to Edinburgh for their flight home the next day, all being well.
What an awesome summer we have had with them, and though interrupted by COVID they were not too poorly for too long and the extra weeks have been amazing.
Three good things
1.A lovely Songs of Praise service at church this morning and Connor decided to come with me. 💛
2. A lovely afternoon and a visit to see Jonathan Sarah and Neil.....much fun together.
3. Delicious food, lots of laughter and the warm care of local people. One lovely waitress took the photo for us. I've known her since she was in nursery !!!
@busylady 😄 Thank you for your lovely comment. It has been awesome, departure delayed by three weeks due to COVID 🙄 but absolutely loved every day since they recovered. Feeling very blessed. 💛
A fabulous photo of you all…..what a great time you have all had renewing memories & making new ones. A long distance relationship is quite hard to keep going I find sometimes. I’ve never gone as long without seeing the boys & did find it quite hard to chat the other day. Late at night for us & early morning for them….not the best times & not the best reception.
