From the superb bakery on the High Street.... When there's work to be done at the house this is a very acceptable start to the day.
Three good things
1. Up early, tidying all the 'no longer required' items from decorating etc. Then an hour in the garden, tidying edges, weeding lots, pruning roses and herbs....
2. Laundry items to take home, car packed, busy roads, heavy rain...... but it did improve and some lunch on the way.
3.Monthly Market in the square. Glad we went down, delicious Thai crab cakes for supper, bread for tomorrow, flowers grown by the community group... now in the garden.
And a bit of sewing machine activity on 'new to me' trousers I got in the hospice shop yesterday. 😄
