hmmmm! today I (+Jonathan when he arrived!) cleared all my work stuff out of 'the boys' bedroom' where I have stored it since they moved out 3 years ago! I have wanted to do this for ..........3 years!!!
So you could call this 'progress'!
Fortunately the girls are in Edinburgh...............so I have moved all the boxes and folders to their room!!
Hope they don't see this!
Anyway I am expecting them home for a week end in the near future so that will motivate me to get a move on with the RADICAL clear out which is the only option! Look out paper shredder ...........you don't know what is about to hit you!
@jmj indeed!!! Oh I can feel the pressure of having to chuck out some 'treasure' from my recent years. But so much of it is on computer and I can't decide which I want to clear ...the REAL version or the digital one!!
But I will benefit from this awesome task!
Oh Laura & Susannah don't look at this, your lovely bedroom is a junk ( treasure) depository !! Only joking it actually all looks very tidy considering !!!

I think we all keep too much. You will feel great after a clear out though. Pat yourself on the back for what you have achieved (and documented) today!
lol Sarah- I can totally sympathize. The futon in our spare room is often covered with all the "I'll put this away later" items. Yesterday our niece surprised us with a spontaneous overnight visit which meant all those piles had to find a home very quickly!! Fun collage!
So refreshing to see someone else's boys room looks exactly like ours! At least you can still see carpet in yours. I love de-cluttering, the only problem is that the notion to do so doesn't overcome me very often!!
