Finally a cool morning! This bee was sleepy and slow - I only had my 24mm lens outside with me, but I was able to get right up close and take a couple of quick shots. I might have run back in for a macro filter and tried again if Matthew hadn't chosen that moment to throw my phone across the yard. Unfortunately, cool mornings do not make *him* sleepy and slow!
(Bees don't scare me. If it had been a spider...no.)
