These birds are quite common in South Africa. In Afrikaans you call it a "VINK" will search the English name for it. The male builds the nest and the female takes it apart if she does not like it...Woman!
Now we learn. According to my book this is a Southern masked weaver. The male does have more than one wife and it is the male who takes the nest apart if she is not interested!
