@gerry13 @gerry13 Sorry for not being able to do the challenge. To be able to take photos of buildings in town a young male should accompany you. It is not safe at all to take photos with a expensive camera. The chance that it will be grabbed is very big. We had our city hall burned down a few weeks ago. Bloemfontein.

According to the newspapers police used stun grenades, rubber bullets and water to disperse the striking workers. Workers fled into the streets and threw stones and bottles at moving and stationary vehicles. - more than 1 000 members of the South African Municipal Workers Union allegedly set fire to the city hall
The city hall is more than a century old and has been declared a heritage building. It was burned down with only the walls standing.

@gerry13 Thanks for understanding. I wanted to take a picture of the City hall. We were so proud of this building. It is heart breaking to see it again last night on the TV news. Only the walls standing. Just to think of all the archive documents that were burned to. Never to be replaced.
