Strike

Not another heron photo I hear you groan. But when I saw him stalking his prey I settled down a while to watch. Thankfully Max & Charlie are learning it makes Mommy cross with them if they yank on the leads when I tell them I want to shoot something, so they just sat quietly and waited for me. I didn't manage to catch the meal in his mouth this time, so I'll just have to be content with this or another one like yesterday of him stalking

How *do* you train dogs to do that? Great sharp shot!

@beckyk365 @narayani @bf2016 Thank you. This is the only area in which Max & Charlie are well trained. I'm thinking of keeping them tethered to me on leads all day in the house as well now, to try and train them as I'm suddenly finding someone is leaving puddles in my lounge carpet again! It is much easier to train them to do something good with lots of rewards and petting, than to train them not to do something bad!
