Kaaimans River Pass by seacreature

Kaaimans River Pass

We vacated our little cabin at Peace of Eden this morning and heading for Far Hills Hotel only about 40km away for the next 3 nights. Had to stop in at the Kaaimans River Pass on our way. I've photographed this bridge and reflections a year ago when we were last here, but I never cease to be fascinating by this inky black river and reflections. (it's not dirty - the water is quite clear. It's just stained with tanins from the vegetation)
It's beautiful! (I remember it from SC) We have trees here that do the same - teatrees

@narayani Thanks Narayani. I thought you would recall it from SC. I didn't know your tea trees did the same thing. Wonder if that is why they earned the name tea trees? The water does look like tea before milk is added.

@cottiac . Thanks CottiaC. You must let me know if you ever come this way! I think the exchange rate makes it cheaper for you to visit here than for me to visit UK, much as I would love to.

@seacreature Thanks Desi appreciate that. It would be a question of where to start on your continent!
