Casualty

Rushed my mother to Casualty again first thing this morning. She hasn't been well, and not eating since before I took her to see the flowers on Saturday. This morning my father was banging on my door when I was still in my gown to tell me she's very sick. So here we are, my Dad and me, waiting it out in the little waiting room. It's clean, but not comfortable. Those metal benches are icy cold, so I found us some plastic chairs
Sorry you've been called to the hospital in a rush... I like this photo - yeah, it looks a little clinical and cold, typical waiting room scene. The lines and the light work nicely.

Hope your mother does ok - your father looks a little pensive understandably.

@anniesue @bf2016 Thank you Annie-Sue and Barbie. The doctors have started her on intravenous antibiotics for a lung infection as she wasn't responding well to the oral antibiotics. I'm sure glad she is in hospital and not at home. I wouldn't cope very well.

@narayani Thanks so much Narayani. Yes my father adores my mother, so he is very lonely and depressed in their little cottage. He was almost in tears because he couldn't find their wedding photo today, so I found one I had for him to put up on the wall. That made him happy.

So sorry to hear.... I hope by now she has turned a corner and starting to feel better. It takes them a long time to bounce back at this age.
