I was lucky with this particular purchase - all the critical pieces were there to complete the tractors. The hay bales are missing, two of the carrots are missing, and the bunnies are missing. But the other lego I bought from this young man at the same time has a lot of critical pieces missing so I am a little annoyed as he assured me it was all there. I suppose it is a chance one takes with 2nd hand lego pieces. I had fun building them anyway!
What a shame. I’ve decided I’m on selling the box - letting people know it’s not all genuine! I found some great duplo though and picked it up - which is more Ren’s level.
@anniesue Indeed I did have fun. And it is nice to know I am starting a little collection that hasn't cost me the earth, and that I won't be distressed if a piece goes missing or gets broken when Maddy comes
@narayani I think that is a great plan to sell it on with honesty about the contents. I am looking out for Duplo on Marketplace at the moment as Lego is still a bit advanced for Maddy and although she plays with it, I think she prefers Duplo size blocks
@seacreature I sold it the very next day for what I paid for it so that was great. Ren is much more into the duplo. Good luck finding some. There was heaps on marketplace over here!
