I went to take photos for my competition to use for her advertising and website. I did it for free as part of my drive to gain experience and confidence before I start charging. A part of my brain told me I was crazy doing favours to help my competition, but another part of my brain told me to follow my gut and it would be good karma as there is sure to be enough business to keep us both busy and developing a good relationship will be beneficial to all.
@cottiac Yes I have, and I will update my photos as soon as I have a gap in bookings. Luckily for me I am busy with not a spare night available until 19th April (I'm sitll hoping for those last minute bookings after 19th April of course!)

Yes she was happy with the shots - I delivered about 50 photos to her for 3 different accommodations, and I'm sure we will find it works well for both of us to refer our overflow bookings. There are dozens of other accommodations in the area so I already have more competition than just Barbie's two
