Today was a call for Black Monday as part of the movement towards a vote of No Confidence in President Jacob Zuma who has reduced South Africa to international Junk Status after he axed some of the more respected cabinet ministers who have been preventing him getting his fat fingers into the National Treasury. So I wore black to show my solidarity, and was glad to see many other people in black today. Even my mother felt she had to take to the streets on Blessing, dressed in black.
@cottiac I don't suppose it actually changes anything if one wears black or not - but somehow psychologically it helps one feel it is a way to have a voice
Good for both of you! I have to admit I'm not familiar with that's going on, I'll have to Google it. (It's hard enough to keep on top of what's happening here)
