So this afternoon was my first Matric Dance Shoot (Senior Prom). My couple are Afrikaans so the board I took them a week ago and asked them to decorate with Matric 2017 is Matriek 2017. If I do another shoot like this next year, I think I will decorate a board myself next time!The pose in this shot is a little awkward - but the better posed shot is not quite as sharply focused on her eyes
I think it's a very beautiful portrait. I think she looks a little self-conscious but who wasn't at that age. You chose a good background I, I know that was a concern of yours.

@beckyk365 Yes I think so. But in fairness, from this point forward they are supposed to concentrate on the final run to the exams, so I shouldn't entice her or encourage her to do other things like model for me until after Matric ends in October/November
