Don found a 2nd hand trike so we have bought it for him to ride to get exercise as well. He is able to ride a bike but after 2 spinal fusions he has some difficulty so the trike will be a lot safer for him.
@islambad Thank you. It's in excellent condition. Has hardly been used. @365anne I hope so too. I walk the dogs on my own, and ride my bike. Will be so good if this will give him the push he needs to get some exercise! @narayani Yes, he already mentioned cornering feels weird because you can't tilt the bike. Also I worried when I saw him going along an incline - it looked a lot more unstable than a normal bike! So he will just have to be very careful where he rides. @meotzi They are not at all common here either, actually. I have never seen one before now. Our daughter in Johannesburg has told him never to ride it in her presence as she is too embarrassed! LOL @peggyhuffman I sure hope he does enjoy his excursions. He is so overweight and unfit that any little bit of exercise will do him the world of good
