Arranged with the skipper of the yacht on which the wedding is taking place to have access this morning in order to start trying to get an idea of what I will be facing. Now I'm even more nervous because I just can't imagine how I am going to get good shots of the ceremony in such a small space with 14 people on board! I think this is where a cellphone would do better than a dslr - but I just have an old Samsung, not a nice iPhone with a good camera!
When is/was the wedding? Hope it went/goes well! I've done exactly one wedding and it didn't go so well... way too much pressure, so I admire the people who are able to pull it off!
@mona65 Thank you Mona - I would hate to disappoint the bride on her big day. @bf2016 Wedding is 28th June so I have plenty of time still to get even more nervous about all the things that could go wrong! LOL. @narayani I do have a point and shoot, and will definitely have that along as a backup (although not ideal). I will also ask the guests to feel free take cellphone pics on board because someone might get a better angle etc. @777margo Thanks Margo. I guess there is no reason they won't end up with at least a few nice photos, even if I don't manage to get everything that a wedding photographer traditionally should.
