Bit of a change for me today. Didn't go out anywhere - didn't even put make up on this morning! It was a house cleaning day today - vacuuming, dusting, mopping, polishing leather furniture with dubbin, and wooden furniture with linseed oil. And doing some trimming back in the garden. So now I am totally exhausted, but had some fun shooting the bougainvilleas before starting to cook supper this evening. There was a teensy, tiny translucent spider in one of those little florets, not visible to the naked eye until I really zoomed in with my camera. But my gear just isn't up to taking a magnified photo like that, so now I'm lusting after a decent extension tube. Hahaha.
@anniesue Yes indeed, it will someday. Was thinking I should find myself a niche, then decided why must I tie myself into one genre and maybe get bored with it, so perhaps extension tubes may be a good plan ....
@777margo Yes it is definitely a bougainvillea - just an unusual colour. We have two plants at the front of our house with this orangy colour, one at the side with the common pink, and another that is a deep reddish pink. The leaves of that one are slightly different too - darker and more lush looking
