Canon Catwalk by seacreature

Canon Catwalk

It's been a great weekend with the Canon Roadshow at the Cape Town International Convention Centre holding about 1200 people in the auditorium - free attendance and some interesting and motivational presentations. Followed by a smaller more intimate lecture at the Cape Town School of Photography, for which we had to pay a nominal fee. (Attendance was limited, and the nominal fee kept the riff raff from wanting to attend). Canon had set up a catwalk and had models strutting their stuff on the ramp (wearing awful clothing - but perhaps that is what "fashion" is all about), lights that changed colour every few seconds, and they encouraged us to move around getting shots of the models as we wished. I quickly discovered I wasn't enjoying the full length shots as I simply can't relate to weird clothing nobody in their right mind would ever wear on the street, but when I started attempting the portraits I enjoy so much as the models went on past, I found myself getting hooked on trying to get a shot and moved around until I had a background that wasn't just other photographers
very well done being able to get a clear, clean shot like this which satisfied your own aesthetic

@koalagardens Thanks very much
@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. In a strange way I like the colours too although they are not at all natural.
