Decided it was time I put more effort into learning to capture birds in flight! Definitely didn't find it easy to get sharp, in focus shots, not to mention that without cropping most of the sky away my composition left a lot to be desired as I tried to follow the birds above my head!
@anniesue Well I was at max zoom on my lens and it was still way too much sky. But even so I kept losing them as I tried to follow them flying overhead with my eye glued to the eyepiece... needs practice to get right but I was thinking, to be quite honest I would rather put the time into practicing portraits again :)
