Certainly not the greatest image but from a diary perspective tells the story much better than shots from my camera on our walk this morning. It was so chilly out I very much regretted just putting on a windcheater and not bothering with a beanie to keep my head and ears warm. But this afternoon I decided to treat us all (the dogs and me that is) to a nice fire in the fireplace while it drizzled gently outside.
@Dawn@ludwigsdiana Thank you. We are not getting much rain up here - just a bit of drizzle here and there through the day. But it sure is freezing all of a sudden.
@narayani It's such a treat to have an open fire. A bit of a pain to clean the fireplace the next morning so I will avoid making a fire if I have to go out early, but I still do enjoy it.
