Outgrowing the nest by seanoneill

Outgrowing the nest

Well, it is just 8 days since I photographed these 2 after they hatched.

On April 29th they took up about a quarter of the nest. Now they are outgrowing it.

I will probably post 2 or 3 more in the next week, as I expect them to leave the nest in a week or so.

This is becoming a super series of captures.
Some crows have nested in one of our chimneys and we can hear them on the other side of the wall behind our bed. Boy do they make a noise at around six o'clock in the morning! I'd much rather have blackbirds nesting there!!
