Yesterday we endured a very early start and late finish to attend the Canoe Sprint heats and semi-finals at Eton Dorney, and then on to Wembley for the men's football semi-final.
This is a shot of Rachel Cawthorn of Team GB, as she glides into the start position yesterday, ready for her heat of the Women's Kayak Single K1 class.
Rachel finished got through to the final later this week. Good luck Rachel.
This was the first time that we had ever attended a Canoeing and Kayaking event, and we loved it. We will definitely be going again!
Our family Olympic Adventure is now over, we have no more tickets and are off on our summer holidays tomorrow evening.
We have loved every minute of it. It has been one of the most amazing experiences of our lives, and one that we will never forget. Well done to LOCOG for putting on a spectacular and very British games so far. Well done to Team GB for breaking all it's previous performance records. A nation is proud and we stand tall with you.
glad you had such a great time - and this is another super shot - have you seen the pictures Dave Gorman has been taking from his trips to the Games? they're on Flickr - but he's been tweeting some of them too
Glad you and your family had such a great Olympic experience - when it comes to your town, it is a do not miss event! Lovely capture, great paint job on this kayak.
