Light reading

I subscribe to a number of magazines.

Tonight we were away overnight in Newcastle, ahead of seeing England v South Africa at T20 cricket in Durham.

It gave me the chance to catch up with this month's issues.

I guess they define me quite well. My love of cricket, photography, wine and poking the establishment in the eye!
And quite a bit of catching up too. There is nothing so nice as a new unopened magazine!!!!

Nice arrangement Sean. All that work, photography, kids, sports.. and you have time to read magazines! I subscribe to B+W too!

Sean, you are such a sports nut! You would fit right in here in Denver with all the crazy Bronco fans. Although, Cricket is much more sophisticated and gentlemanly... I love that you tell us a bit about you and your family...makes me feel a bit more connected with others when they share...maybe I should do a bit more of that but my life is pretty dull...one last comment...I'm from New Castle, Indiana. I lived in England several years some time ago....in London...of course visited your New Castle...isn't there a New Castle beer/ale?

@shamrockinmom I am Sherry! Most Brits are. Thank you for your comment, I'm glad that you like my details about my family and life. I wonder if it is a little self indulgent at times, then I figure that folks don't have to read it. Yes there is a Newcastle Brown Ale, or Newky Brown as we call it:) thanks again, I love your enthusiasm, it is very kind of you. Now, I have a very good friend who works for Coors in Denver, and he is nuts about sport too.

@shamrockinmom And I'm sure that your life isn't dull at all. I for one am fascinated by where people live and how different we all are. I look forward to finding out more about your town and day to day life.

@seanoneill Seriously -- well -- I live just down the road from Coors in Golden. Golden is a lovely little town. Yep that's it. Newcastle Brown Ale -- must confess -- a friend stole a bar towel for me with their logo on it -- I still have it -- I hope the statutes of limitations have passed by now. :-D

@shamrockinmom Small world, wouldn't want to paint it!! I won't tell about the bar towel, as long as you don't tell about the 100 or so pint glasses I've stolen all over the world ;)
