Today's word is....moon.

Not happy with this at all, the moon was so bright and exposing was difficult in the time I had available when I didn't get to pick up my camera until after 10pm. I have much better moon shots earlier in my project, I think it is easier to shoot a half moon and pick out detail.

I am looking forward to seeing the eclipse if anyone in the USA has managed to capture it.

Nice shot. I really remember better ones in your project. But to be honest: I would be proud, if it was mine.
French Speaking Redneck @anzere03 shot a moon too today, but I couldn't see an eclipse.

Looks great. I really wanted to capture the cloud around the moon but ran out of time. Need more practice as I have never shot the moon before

@brav LOL. Moon in "Looks the same from different parts of the world" shock.

@seanoneill I dont know what this means but I am sure some scientist could discover some groundbreaking theory with this. Maybe the earth is round or something?
November 29th, 2012
@brav It would need someone cleverer than me to confirm that!
November 29th, 2012
This is wonderful, I have never taken a photo even close to this, what lens do you use?
November 29th, 2012
@cathy366 I have a Sigma 150-500mm Cathy, though I am thinking of adding a telescope to the collection. @humphreyhippo has given me some advice.

I thinks its great, there's so much detail, I could point out and label so many craters and maria on it - beautiful moon shot.
